Next time you are in the Orlando area be sure to drop by for a visit to The Ritz-Carlton Spa at Grande Lakes for at least the day. You will feel like a million dollars afterwards and like you have no cares in the world. The Spa is located on the expansive acreage of Grande Lakes which has beautiful lush greenery surroundings along with lakes throughout the property as well. The self standing spa building is sandwiched between two resorts on the property, The Ritz-Carlton and the JW Marriott for use by resort guests in addition to local guests or tourists that want to stop in for a breather.

All three levels of the spa building have everything you could possibly need to make your day an amazing escape from reality.

Enter on the first floor to check in or shop in the Tranquility spa boutique. Or grab some spa fare at the Spa Vitale Cafe which serves up a full menu of healthy cuisine from bento boxes, fresh smoothies, wrap sandwiches or delicious salads. Across the way, a  6,000 square-foot  Spa Fitness Center complete with free weights, state-of-the-art fitness machines and a studio for workout classes such as Zumba. After a workout spa guests can head outside to the 4,000-square-foot outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi for their exclusive use. No kids or loud guests here. Simply choose a cozy lounger and enjoy poolside service of fresh smoothies, cocktails or refreshments while you soak in the florida sun.

On the second floor spa guests will enjoy private quarters for both men and women and a full service salon. Men will enjoy relaxing in their private locker room along with a big screen tv for their viewing pleasure. There are also separate male and female  indoor jacuzzi, changing rooms, relaxtion area with snacks and refreshments and sauna and steam room in those private areas.

On the third floor of the spa you will find 40 treatment rooms along with a co-ed relaxation conservatory where couples can meet up to enjoy quiet time together and a cup of tea before or after their appointment times. Or for a delightful treat book a scrub bar session to create a customized exfoliating gel using home grown herbs from the Ritz-Carlton’s very own roof top garden along with shower gel and salts or pumice.

Spa treatments at the Ritz-Carlton Spa at Grande Lakes are Florida inspired. Most treatments incorporate the finest Florida citrus fruits like grapefruit, lime, lemon or orange. Treatments like the signature East Indian Lime Scalp Massage and Body Treatment uses lime oils.  In addition to the citrus elements the spa reflects Orlando’s international orientation by offering specific therapies inspired by different nations and cultures like Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage or Thai Massage.

Spa Specials to consider: Florida Residents can enjoy 15% off spa services from Sunday-Friday.
