Screen Shot 2015-03-12 at 4.03.23 PMAcclaimed photographer, author and society staple Linda Troeller’s  Healing Waters exhibition will debut tomorrow,Wednesday, March 18th 2015 and be on display throughout the Month of April  at PR Firm, Trent & Company, Inc. Based off of Troeller’s celebrated photobook, Healing Waters, the exhibit is described as a “vivid exploration of water therapy used all over the world,” taking the viewers through a rejuvenating visual journey. The event will include a book signing and meet-and-greet session with Troeller herself.

Healing Waters is the recipient of the “Pictures of the Year” book award, which is presented for excellence in content. “These stunning images place the viewer at the forefront of the revitalization, rebirth and renewal that water therapy is intended to bring,” said Troeller. Through the use of blurring and subtle coloring tactics, the photographs portray the way the human form communicates with water.

As an adult, Troller gained connections and notoriety while living at New York City’s Chelsea Hotel for more than a decade. An environment that she explains “provides a safe haven and artistic acceptance,” she enjoyed several milestones with the hotel as a backdrop, including editing Healing Waters in Room 832.

Healing Waters opens on Wednesday, March 18th and will be on display at Trent & Company throughout the month of April.
